Cox and the ED&O Atlanta Team is committed to the environment and sustainability through the Cox Conserves program. Cox Conserves encourages employees and their families to adopt eco-friendly practices in their lives and to make a difference through community service. I am fortunate to work for Cox, a company that supports various initiatives that impact people’s lives, with a critical focus on youth and education, diversity & inclusion and environmental issues.

Today, my peers and I joined our Senior Vice President, Enterprise Development & Operations, Johannes Eckert, and board member of the South Fork Conservancy (SFC) at Zonolite Park. We helped clear invasive plants and brush from the interior of a 22-acre DeKalb County park. We also spread mulch, gravel and soil in the new community garden.

The vision of this non-profit organization, SFC, is to CONNECT PEOPLE AND PLACES THOUGH A NATURAL CREEK & TRAIL EXPERIENCE. This organization strives to conserve habitat, connect neighborhoods and restore native wildlife and plants along Peachtree Creek.
